For forty days from May to July the World Series of Poker descends upon the Vegas strip for its stunning finale. The biggest, richest poker event opens its doors to pros, celebs, and the very best amateur players from around the world.
The main event in Vegas attracts upwards of 6,500 players, all competing for that first place prize of $10 million. It’s sure come a long way from that very first tournament back in 1970 where the WSOP featured just seven players. This year’s schedule had twenty-two stops with an extra six international stops before getting to Vegas for that final WSOP Global Casino Championship.
So, with a buy-in of $10,000, are you poker star enough to compete? Or will you just be there to enjoy the ride? Every year, Harrah’s Rio Hotel and Casino will welcome the very best in the world.
The guys at Lucky Nugget Casino have rounded up every tournament from now until the last game in July.
