2016 is looking like a good year for Canadian casinos, with huge numbers of big name bands playing at some of the most popular casinos in the True North. Whilst Lucky Nugget can’t exactly bring live bands to your home, we’ve got a pretty rocking playlist you should check out.
Anyway, let’s take a look at some of the best bands playing this year!
Alberta
The Palace Casino of Edmonton has, for as long as memory serves, been the center of entertainment for the south-central Alberta area. This year they have the WOW (We’re One World) band playing, who are a top 40 variety show band, with a collection of hits from all genres. At one moment they’re blasting out the classic tunes and next they’re singing all your favourite latest hits.
If it couldn’t get much better, then would you believe that ZZ Top are playing at the River Cree Casino! There’s even the Australian Bee Gees and even Bill Engvall, the best male stand up comedian ever. It’s about to get pretty rowdy in Alberta!
Ontario
One of Canada’s largest casinos, the Casino Rama, locared in Orillia Ontario just north of Tronto has a pretty awesome line-up if we don’t say so ourselves. First up, is ZZ Top, who appear to be doing a casino tour this year. He’s followed by Diana Ross, Steve Martin and Martin Short Comedy and Rodney Carrington. If things couldn’t get much better than that, Santana – best know for Smooth – is playing towards the end of April with Foreigner playing two days shortly afterwards
So yeah, if there’s one place to go this summer it’s got to be Ontario!
British Columbia
Hard Rock Casino is the number one venue in British Columbia, and it’s seen its fair share of big name acts over the year.
Kicking everything off is Rachael Chantoor, followed by signer-songwriter Cole Petrone. The pop-junkies then return to the casino to bast some funky songs out. Things are then going a little R&B, with stars such as AllStars, SpiritCool and vocalist Xtreme Radio, romantic Kaifi aur Main and Soul Rock and Roll Soul Men. Unfortunately, no ZZ Top though.
